This type of cleaning aims to keep areas orderly, free of dust, dirt, and debris, and to maintain a healthy and pleasant environment. General cleaning involves a series of basic tasks that are performed regularly to ensure that space remains clean. This can be done via removal of trash, dusting, sweeping, wiping, and sanitizing.

Mechanical cleaning
Remove greases, oils, and hard stuck-on contaminants from the surface. bz® Heavy Duty Hand Cleaning Wipes or Tergo Microfiber cloths are great at removing excessive spills, oil, and greases from the surface.
Application
Apply cleaners and solvents to the surface and give them time to work. Time is required for solubilizing the contamination. It will reduce your elbow power and you will be less likely to damage the surface.
Absorption
Readily absorb any remaining contamination by wiping with a highly absorbent cloth. Using a microfiber, such as Tergo Microfiber Cloth, will reduce the amount of effort required to clean a surface due to the increased surface area the microfiber provides.
